ShareKnowledge LMS 3.1 Hardware and Software Requirements
for Smooth Deployment
To get the maximum experience with your ShareKnowledge learning management system 3.1, please make sure that your software and hardware satisfy the requirements before starting the download or installation process.
Technical Requirements:
- Microsoft® SharePoint® Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation Services, or the latest editions of SharePoint Server 2007 or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
- Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 or later
- Internet Information Services (ISS)
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or later
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition SP3 or later
- Server with 2.5 GHz or faster processor (recommended 2 CPUs)
- For SharePoint Server 2007 or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)
- For SharePoint Server 2010 or SharePoint Foundation Services 4 GB (8 GB recommended)
- 2 GB free disc space for installation and 5 GB or more for data storage
- Windows Management Framework Core (WinRM 2.0 and Windows PowerShell 2.0)
- Clients need to have one of the following browsers: Internet Explorer 7.0 or greater, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome
- Clients need to have one of the following systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux or iPad
Also, please make sure that you have administrator rights in Microsoft SQL Server and the rights for making web applications before installing ShareKnowledge LMS.
